Police line-up stalled by fiery debate

The Police Commission on Friday abruptly adjoined following a fiery debate without a conclusion on the proposed police line-up.

"The meeting has been suspended and will reconvene as soon as possible," Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thuagsuban said yesterday in his capacity as the commission chairman.

Suthep postponed the meeting once before by citing his illness on Monday.
