Yala - A family of four were perished in a mudslide in this southern border province early Friday.

Rescue officials said the house of the family was buried under mud, and officials took about four hours to dig them up at 1 pm.

The house was located on the hillside in Moo 6 village in Tambon Talingchan in Bannang Sata district.

The four were identified as Assanai Asama, 28, Phafun Kraiwilas, 29, Korndanai Asma 5 and Khathawut Asama, 3.
