HSBC aid for needy children
To commemorate HSBC's 124th year in Thailand, the bank, represented by CEO Matthew Lobner, recently donated Bt750,000 to the CCF Foundation (under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn) to sponsor 124 needy children in Chaiyaphum province. It is aimed at improving their education and personal development.
Earlier, HSBC sponsored 120 children in Sakaew province for two years in 2008-2009 and has collaborated with CCF Foundation to conduct several volunteering activities, eg sponsor-meet-child site visit, lunch for kids, and children's field trips.
